Lawman Lynch is a Jamaican-born activist who migrated to the United States in 2010. Since making Brooklyn his home, he has embedded himself in community development, nonprofit and political work; and has become deeply involved in the Brooklyn community he now aims to represent. He has collaborated with local leaders across churches, businesses, and the political sphere. Additionally, Lawman is the CEO of CariGlo Diaspora LLC, a human services and fintech company.

Recognized by the New York City Public Advocate as a trailblazer in community development, Lawman Lynch has been actively involved in youth and community development since the age of seven. He is a well-known “People’s Advocate,” educator, development and communications strategist, and entrepreneur. Mr. Lynch is also an author, musician, and award-winning youth and community development activist. He is the recipient of the New York Caribbean Life Newspaper’s 20 under 40 trailblazers award and the founder of The Lawman Lynch Foundation Inc. (LLF), a New York-based nonprofit organization that focuses on child, youth, and community development, supporting programs in both the United States and the Caribbean. Additionally, Mr. Lynch is the CEO of CariGlo Diaspora LLC, a multifaceted human services and FinTech company.

Lynch has held several leadership positions, including serving as Center and Programs Director at The Salvation Army in Brooklyn, New York. He is currently the Elementary and Middle Schools Program Manager at New York Edge, the city’s largest community schools and after-school program provider, where he oversees the delivery of educational and enrichment services in multiple New York City charter and public schools. He also served two terms as Chairman of the African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (ACP) Civil Society Forum in Brussels and was a member of the Education Sector of the Jamaica Diaspora North East USA Think Tank.

In 2024, Lawman Lynch announced his candidacy for New York City Council member, aiming to represent the constituents of District 41 in Brooklyn, NY. A lifelong learner, Mr. Lynch is committed to facilitating the upward mobility of those he encounters. He holds a BA in Communications, a Master's in Educational Leadership, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate focusing on Ethical Leadership in Education, the Private Sector, and the Public Sector.
